Candles should be enjoyed, make sure to follow these tips to make your candle last longer.

When lighting a soy candle for the first time, allow the wax to melt all the way to the sides, this should take 1-3 hours depending on the size. If you don’t allow the wax to melt this will often cause tunneling which will limit the life of your candle. Soy wax does not burn as hot as paraffin wax, so soy wax candles require a thicker wick, which needs to be trimmed regularly. Aim to trim your wick to about 1/4"/6-8mm before you re-light your candle. This will ensure a long lasting candle and minimize soot. To properly extinguish your candle dip the wick into the melted wax and straighten. This will stop the wick smoking and will help with re-lighting the next time.

 Safety tips:

1). Never leave a burning candle unattended. Extinguish all candles when you leave a room or before going to sleep.

2). Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets.

3). We recommend burning for a maximum of 4 hours each time you enjoy your candle.

4).Follow the 2-foot rule. Don't place a burning candle within 2 feet of clothing, books, curtains, or other flammable objects.

5). Keep lit candles away from drafts, ceiling fans, and any air currents. This keeps the flame burning steadily in the center of the candle.

6). Trim the wick to ¼” before every burn. This helps prevent the flame from getting too large, and also cuts down on any excess soot or black smoke.
